I’m a high school senior… but I can still think about my future.?

I enjoy sociological and pyschological aspects of our society and the behaviors of others. I have, for about the past 9 months, been interested in dealing with interventions, and what not. Becasue of intensive studying, I’ve been thinking otherwise. Currently, I am thinking of majoring in elementary education. After recently visiting a drug an alcohol rehab facility, I’ve become reinterested in dealing with this, and I think it falls into my interest in sociology and psychology. What are some other things I could do in this field?

You could be a social worker, it can be a very rewarding career if your the type of person that can handle it. That field also has good benefits, since its a state job and whatnot. On the same note you may also want to check into a correctional officer, school guidance counselor. You could be a behaviorist, i think thats what it’s called, it may be high profile though, kind of like the tv show, “Criminal Minds.” But, all are interesting fields to get into, hope this helps, and good luck.
