Drug Intervention australia
Are you for or against Colin Barnett’s proposed cannabis legislation?
Colin Barnett is trying to impose legislation in Western Australia that will make the sale of smoking paraphernalia to ANYONE illegal. Being caught in possession of ten grams will be considered a criminal offense (30grams is the current limit), as well as cultivating any plants (currently two per person, per household is permitted) and replace the CIN (Cannabis infringement notice) scheme with CIRS (Cannabis intervention requirement scheme).
To me this seems like a step backwards.. And quite frankly a waste of effort, when pharmascuticals, alcohol and cigarettes cause more deaths per year than marijuana EVER has. And if it’s because of the “mental side effects” of marijuana.. why isn’t more effort being put into getting rid of the harder drugs that really mess people up?
I agree with you its big step backwards and waste of valuable police resources.
Maybe he should be more concerned with getting some extra police ,nurses and spending some much needed money on mental health issues.
You are a model. Teens are watching you and how you handle crisis situations in your life. drug intervention australia They look at your problem solving skills and often times use them as their own. So if you solve your problems with alcohol, they may do the same.
