Any alcohol intervention tips?

I am a college student and after returning home from the spring semester, I noticed how bad my mother’s drinking has become. She is still holding a job and taking care of my little sister, but I am very concerned and I know she won’t listen to me. My aunt is going to help me plan an intervention, are there any good tips out there?

I know you will think I’m a wise guy (I am) for this but it will work.I don’t know what your mom drinks,hopefully beer because it has the most volume.Tell your mom she can drink all she wants but she must do it wile lying in bed watching television.She has to hold her drink in her hand but rest it on her on her stomach.Here’s what will happen.She will try not to fall asleep because if she does the drink will fall out of her hand and get her and the bed all wet.IT IS REVERSE PHYSIOLOGY she knows she cant fall asleep or the drink will spill so she falls asleep and spills the drink.She will get so tired of waking up soaked that she will quit drinking.All you have to do now is convince her to not drink out of bed.
