Heard of a news article involving a S. Am. political figure being drugged and giving away all of his stuff?
All that I can really remember from the article is this:
South American Political Guy (Ambassador, I want to say) got fed this concoction made from a plant that renderred him extremely influenced by his druggers. So when they brought him back to his place they would say give me your furniture and he’d give it to them. The servants assumed something was wrong (Why would this esteemed man willingly give all of his things away to these hoodlums?) but were corrected by their employer upon intervention.
Man Man woke up and found all his stuff gone. The servants had to explain that he gave it all away to some two-bit punks with fancy tea.
It was a Yahoo News article.
