waiting for friend to kill himself!?
i have a friend of a few years and in the past year or so i have noticed that he drinks a lot! he has already gotten into 8 car accidents, most of them were because of alcohol. he is 21 and a TINY built and already has gout which is not normal. last night he came over and told us that he got in a car accident and had a DUI, so now he has to go to AA. While he is telling me this he has a beer in his hand. No matter what he says he learned his lesson and he doesnt. I am so afraid that he is going to kill himself. I tried to do an intervention but it didnt work, what should I do? any advice?
Their are some people that need to hit their bottom, before they
can see the true light. You did the right thing trying to help your friend.
Now the rest is up to him.
Be at peace with yourself, just be there if he calls out

You are a model. Teens are watching you and how you handle crisis situations in your life. alcohol intervention aa They look at your problem solving skills and often times use them as their own. So if you solve your problems with alcohol, they may do the same.
