brief Alcohol Interventions
Cheating wife…how to get over?
My wife of five years and i have a 3 year old son together and she is an alcoholic. Shortly after giving birth to our son she began to drink alot and often. In the last year she drank all the time but when she was at work. A month ago I had a professional intervention done and put her in rehab.
The day before she got out she told me she wanted to start a new life with me and had something to tell me. She told me she had two brief affairs with coworkers. She said it had nothing to do with me as she feels I treat her very well. She said it was because she was trying to do anything to make herself feel better. She had sex with one guy once and another guy twice but that did not make her feel any better about herself or her life…she says the alcohol made her a monster.
Is this a reasonable explanation and if so how do I get over it? I still love her very much. Especially now that she is sober…she is a totally different person.
divorce – she’s using the excuse of alcohol as a crutch for her impropriety -
turn that dirtbag out on her ear, and make sure that you have some proof of the cheating so that you can take her to the cleaners in court -
when you do have the opportunity to wipe her out fiscally, don’t be a wimp, she didn’t care about you, so now all you have to care about is your future -
