Drug Intervention missouri

How to I get a troubled, disadvantaged teen into a help program in Missouri. He is illiterate and very poor.?

This young man is currently into trouble for drugs and has no chance for any future as things stand. He was never sent to school and the social services system let him down by not seeing that his family provided him with the proper tools to go out into the world. There has to be some program that he can attend to give him a chance. Without intervention, there is no hope.

It is so typical for ss not to help. They say they have too many case loads to help everyone. How it hurts to see abused children put back into an abusive home. This is not the ss workers fault in most cases. They do the best they are allowed to do.
First of all, you do know that this individual has to have the want and need to get help. If he doesn’t want help, he must drop as low as he can, hopefully, he will eventually become productive.
If he does want help, try Alcoholics Annonimus. The individual will have to inituate the first move by attending meetings. A.A. members usually have many thoughts and helpful ways to get people back on their feet. Is there a school social worker? He should look in the yellow pages under “Social Services” to find organizations to help. Many individuals I know have tried 211 (United Way) and could not find answers. You just have to go down the yellow pages and call and call and call. Many organizations who you believe may not help, may help.
Get prayer lists going for him. Call churches and friends and anyone you know who has a prayer list. God hears the prayers of those on prayer lists. Talk to ministers, clurgy, or whatever, they will also help.
REMEMBER, ONLY HE CAN HELP HIMSELF. NOBODY ON THIS EARTH CAN HELP HIM IF HE DOES NOT WANT HELP. There are those who do not want help and never will. Pray, pray, pray.

You are a model. Teens are watching you and how you handle crisis situations in your life. drug intervention missouri They look at your problem solving skills and often times use them as their own. So if you solve your problems with alcohol, they may do the same.
