Drug Intervention video
questions about huffing?
i have to write an essay about some prevalent drug/addiction for school and i’ve decided to talk about huffing because i saw an intervention episode on it and i figured it wasn’t that typical of a topic. so i’m talking about whippets and i don’t understand why inhaling air duster is so much worse for you than inhaling a balloon. i was watching youtube videos and the effects of the air duster seem so much worse than whip cream cans or balloons. isn’t it all nitrous anyway?
Balloons are usually filled with Helium, not nitrous oxide. Our bodies generally have more tolerance to helium than to nitrous oxide. I believe whipped cream in the can has carbon dioxide(or used to). Nitrous oxide – especially in those doses – is harder for the blood to dispel than carbon dioxide, or even helium. That said any and all can have adverse side effects. Just to varying degrees. Hope this helps.
