Why Would Addicts Be On Intervention If They Don’t Know It Will Be An Intervention?

I am looking at this show tonight and I am looking at this woman nodding off and falling on the floor another woman, eating a mountain of food then throwing up which she does all the time, which is due to their various addictions.

Why would these addicts agree to let millions of viewers show them at their worse if they HAVE NO IDEA THEIR FAMILY WILL BE HOLDING AN INTERVENTION.

Do they offer them a lot of money or what? I know if I had an addiction I would not want my friends or family, let alone millions of people, see me on TV drugged out, falling out in the streets, shooting up, etc.

Or do they do they shoot everything before and after the intervention, then get the person’s permission to show it on TV?

I really want to know how they get people who are addicted to do this type of show.
I know it says before the show starts, that these people have agreed to do this…but why?

My thoughts are that they agree to be on the “documentary” not realizing there will be an intervention at the end. Now most ppl who aren’t under a drug or alcohol addiction would see themselves in a vulnerable state and not want that on display for the world.
The addicted individuals are agreeing in a cloud of confusion and may not really grasp how bad they look…….they see themselves way different than the outsiders would. Many of the show updates show the recovering addict saying that when they watched the show they were in shock how bad they looked and how far they had fallen.

You are a model. Teens are watching you and how you handle crisis situations in your life. drug intervention ideas They look at your problem solving skills and often times use them as their own. So if you solve your problems with alcohol, they may do the same.
